We met thanks to our four-legged matchmakers, Bella and Huckleberry. We lived at the same apartment complex in Denver and would often times run into each other while taking our dogs out.

After many run ins, we finally talked at the pool where Parker offered me a Huckleberry Hazy IPA (yes Huckleberry is named after a beer). We spent the entire afternoon together and haven't been apart since!

We got engaged in Portugal in September 2024. After dinner one evening in Porto, Parker suggested a walk to a scenic overlook with a breathtaking view of the city. I thought we were just stopping for a quick photo, until Parker asked me to marry him! Turns out, Parker had been coordinating with John, who had been holding the ring all night. We then celebrated the only way you should in Portugal, with a toast at a cozy wine bar!
